The Moments That Become Us [SQ3]

from A$1,160.00

Warm blush and dusty rose over burnt sienna and raw umber. Cool blue-grey in quiet tension with the warmth around it. Cream and white rising through vertical forms, and threaded through everything, the looping net marks that recur across all of Dr Sarah Daly's work — connection made visible, made structural. This is a painting about the moments when we resonate with the world around us and feel deeply connected.

The original was created with oil paints and beeswax on Belgian linen — the layering of paint and the texture of the natural linen carry through beautifully into every print. The work began with sustained attention to landscape: its root systems, its architecture, the way things grow slowly and hold their ground. Since 2018, Dr Sarah Daly has used generative AI as a lens — a dialogue between artist and machine about what pattern reveals when it is all you allow yourself to see.

Part of the AERIAL Designer Print Series — created for interiors that want a genuine connection to the outside world. These works bring warmth, depth and narrative to a space, drawing on the materiality of our natural landscapes to help people emotionally connect with where they live. Each of the four prints is a crop of the one original painting, cohesive enough to specify as a set, resolved enough to stand alone.

The Print Archival matte canvas. Epson UltraChrome inks, Epson P20070 printer. Colour-stable for 200+ years indoors. Printed and fulfilled in Queensland by Leftbank — one of Australia's leading fine art print studios.

The Frame Shadow box. The canvas floats inside the frame for a clean gallery finish.

  • Smooth Black — monochrome, contemporary, minimal interiors

  • Raw Oak — organic, coastal, warm residential schemes

Frame included. Ready to hang. Free drop-shipping in Australia.
