I create art that tells the story behind who we are and where we live. Predominantly a traditional painter, I have used generative AI as part of my creative process since 2018. Most of my work is in collaboration with interior designers, where I create site specific art that connects people more deeply with place. I love the stories we hold inside ourselves, and in the landscapes we exist in. I undertake research into the people and place involved in each commission, which means my work is deeply personalised. My background After early years in Papua New Guinea surrounded by local artists, then living across Asia, Europe and Australia, my work is often guided by the maps and patterns within our internal (psychological) and external landscapes. My work always shows a deep connection with who we are, and an empathy towards how we live. I hold a PhD from Queensland University of Technology, investigating trust in artificial intelligence. I studied visual arts and art history at the Queensland College of Art and the University of Queensland and completed masters level work at the Chelsea School of Arts in London. I produced 106 portraits for the Women in AI Awards 2022 and was the AI Artist in Residence at the ISPIM Innovation Conference in Copenhagen in June 2022. I was on the Advisory Board for the Festival of AI and Robotics in 2024. I am a sessional academic in the School of Design and the School of Management at QUT.
